Are you or someone you know interested in supporting climate action and exploring a future in Michigan’s growing climate and energy economy? We are excited to announce that LMB has an open MI Healthy Climate (MHC) Corps position for 2024!
As a member of the MHC Corps serving at LMB, you will learn about safe transportation planning practices and put them into action as you establish connections with communities across the state. You’ll conduct bike audits using an AARP toolkit to give local leaders the data, solutions and strategies needed for transformative change. Best of all, you’ll be a part of making Michigan a safer state to bike and walk.
The MI Healthy Climate Corps program was established by the MI Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy (EGLE) and will be administered by the Community Economic Development Association of Michigan (CEDAM).
We encourage all those who are interested to apply, especially individuals from historically underserved communities and those on the frontline of climate impacts. Individuals must be 18 years old to serve; no degree or formal work experience is required.
Applications are due January 21.
