Today, as the new legislative session starts at Michigan’s Capitol, we welcome all new and returning lawmakers and wish them the best for a safe and productive session in service to the people of our beloved state. We’re looking forward to days when we can meet and discuss the best ways to advance safety for people who walk and bike, without worrying about a deadly pandemic or armed demonstrators.

It’s a difficult time to hope for health, justice and unity, but we’re holding on to confidence that better days are ahead for Michigan and Michigan bicyclists. We have big plans for a year of bicycle-friendly policies!
