The Flynn Michael Foundation will host Michigan’s World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims on Sunday, November 15, 2026, at the Michigan State Capitol in Lansing. This public observance will honor every person killed or seriously injured on Michigan roadways—including drivers, passengers, pedestrians, bicyclists, motorcyclists, and roadway workers—while supporting survivors, grieving families, and affected communities.
Beginning at 1:00 p.m., guests may contribute photographs, names, messages, and other tributes to a Wall of Remembrance. The official program begins at 2:00 p.m. and will feature the voices of victims, survivors, and families, along with state transportation-safety leaders, Michigan State Police and OHSP representatives, legislators, first responders, and road-safety advocates. The event will conclude with a moment of silence and a call for meaningful action. Support stronger measures to prevent extreme speeding, including a Michigan Super Speeder Law.
This is an outdoor event on the east lawn of the Capitol.
