You give us information when you join LMB, donate, sign up for our newsletter, or register for an event. This may include your name, year of birth, email address, mailing address, and phone number. You can browse most of our site without giving us anything.

Our website collects your IP address. We use it to fix technical problems, tailor content to your location, and track site traffic.

How we use your information
Member Directory
When you become a member, we add your name, organization, mailing address, phone number, and email address to our Member Directory. This helps members connect with each other. You control what shows in your profile.
Email communications
We send electronic newsletters, including Connect and Member News. We also send event announcements and updates about LMB’s work. We track opens and clicks so we can send you more relevant email.
We do not sell or rent your email address to anyone. We do not trade personal information with other organizations. You can unsubscribe anytime using the link in any email, or by contacting us at info@lmb.org or (517) 334-9100.
Social media
LMB maintains pages on Facebook and Instagram. When you comment or interact with us there, that platform’s own privacy policy applies, not this one. We moderate comments on our pages to keep discussion respectful and on topic.
Keeping your information secure
Our website uses SSL encryption to protect what you submit, including purchases and membership sign-ups. We do not store your credit card information. Payment details go directly to our payment processor.
Our website links to other websites. We are not responsible for their privacy practices. Visit them at your own risk.
Children’s privacy
LMB does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
