The 18th annual NorthWest Tour will be held June 10-14, 2026. Once again, we will riding in the beautiful area of Traverse City, Mission Peninsula, Leelanau Peninsula, Elk Rapids, Suttons Bay, and surrounding areas and lakes. The ride is sponsored by the Tri-County Bicycle Association (TCBA). The tour features great scenery on good roads through many small towns and tourist areas, along lakeshores, to lighthouses, and with lots of hills, all from the convenience of a single camping location.

Each day will offer several routes ranging from 20 miles to 75 or more. All routes are supported by SAG drivers. Bring your cross, gravel, fat, or mountain bike as the campground is next to the VASA Pathway. Each day’s route begins and ends at the campground. or you can drive your car to a starting location and ride any section of the route you choose. The first and last days are of the shorter variety to allow for travel time. Be prepared for hilly terrain no matter which routes you take.

The tour is primarily a tent camping event. Set up your tent once and enjoy the day’s ride. The campsites are in a wooded area with clean restrooms and showers. Tent camping is included in your fee. There are also sites for RVs, pop-ups, and tents attached to wheeled vehicles at an additional cost. NorthWest Tour has a block of RV sites reserved. RVs will not be allowed in the designated tent area. All sites have water and electric. RV sites include sewer hookups.

Included in the basic fee of $400 are tent camping facilities, route maps, SAG service, catered meals, and basic mechanic services. Dinner and breakfast each day, beginning with dinner on Wednesday through breakfast on Sunday, are provided and served under a large canopy in the camping area. Lunches are on your own on the road. There are also group campfires with S’mores and munchies on some evenings.
