Great Waters Tour
Sat. July 20 - 26, 2024
The Great Waters Tour is our longest tour, coming in at 300 miles over 7 days and 6 nights. You’ll see the mighty Mackinac Bridge at the start, and three Great Lakes! We travel from St. Ignace north to Hessel and on to Sault Ste. Marie, and spend the night within view of the Soo Locks and giant 1,000 foot freighters.
From the Soo we head west along Whitefish Bay and then north into Paradise for two nights. On our layover day you’ll get to see Whitefish Point, and both lower and upper Tahquamenon Falls. Thursday, we head through Newberry on our way to Curtis, and the tour final banquet overlooking Manistique Lake.
Friday we return to St. Ignace, along the way riding on the Hiawatha Trail, and then enjoying beautiful vistas over the crystal sand beaches of Lake Michigan. This tour runs Inn to Inn, with 3 group dinners, sag lunch, and a comfortable bed each night!
