Wheelhouse Detroit offers guided bicycle tours that are safe, fun, and informative. There are over a dozen options suited to a variety of interests, including architecture; public art; automotive, sports, and music heritage; Underground Railroad; the Riverfront and Dequindre Cut; Haunted Detroit; Eastern Market; Corktown; and Southwest Detroit. We specialize in showcasing Detroit’s rich history as well as recognizing its changes, developments, and challenges. Public tours are capped at 10 riders to ensure a personal experience for each participant. Each tour is staffed by an expert guide and, when larger than six riders, a sweeper is added to keep the group safe and provide on-the-road repairs if needed.
Tour descriptions can be found at wheelhousedetroit.com/tours; the 2024 public tour schedule is published in March.
Wheelhouse also offers private group tours for up to 15 riders. Great for a team-building exercise, bachelor/ette party, family outing, wedding weekend excursion, or out-of-town guest expedition. More information here.
