Sweat Shaker Mountain Bike Race

The race has an approximately 1/2 mile rollout. Beginner classes are one abbreviated lap – approximately 9 miles. Sport classes are 1 lap – 18 miles and Elite/Expert is 2 laps- 27 miles. Wave starts will begin promptly at 10:30am with Elite/Expert classes, immediately followed by Sport and Beginner classes.

LUNCH, AWARDS & PRIZE GIVEAWAYS

NEW THIS YEAR! Food truck(s) will be on-site for everyone to enjoy. The award ceremony will take place outside the Poet Outdoor Education Center, feel free to bring lawn chairs if desired. Awards for all divisions will be held at approximately 1:30 pm. There will be Cash Payouts and Medals for Elite/Experts and Medals for Sport/Beginners. Water will be provided – alcoholic beverages are not allowed on campus. Plus, don’t miss your chance to win great swag from our sponsors – must be present to win. Simply check your ticket against the posted winning tickets and claim your prize!

Mid is an alcohol and tobacco free campus. I attest and verify that I fully acknowledge of all risks (contact with other participants, weather conditions, course condition, etc.) involved in this event and I am physically fit and sufficiently trained to participate in this event. Please note that by registering as a participant, you are allowing our photographers and/or the general media the right to photograph you and use the photos for promotional purposes deemed appropriate by the College.

DIRECTIONS TO CAMPUS

From US-127 take Mannsiding Road exit. Go east on Mannsiding Road, turn left at Clare Avenue (stop sign) and continue 1/2 mile straight to Mid’s Main Entrance on Clare Avenue (first right).

PARKING

Parking is free. Parking will be available at the Outdoor Education Center and in nearby parking lots (look for the signs). Parking in nearby parking lots is ideal if you plan on leaving the event before the race concludes. You can park in the main lot and if the main lot is full, please continue on the main drive for additional parking. If you park in a lot and leave before the conclusion of the race you may be delayed as the course crosses the drive and we have to ensure the safety of the racers.
