Ride 2 End Suicide is an annual bicycle ride fundraiser to raise money for suicide awareness, prevention, education and counseling.
This ride brings together survivors of suicide, their families, friends, supporters and local biking enthusiasts. The Ride is an opportunity to move for something that matters –whether that’s for health, recovery, or in memory of a loved one with the goal to raise money for life saving suicide prevention programs.
The event will begin with registration where riders can check-in, pick up their registration packages (including shirts), turn in donations, and visit some of our nonprofit partner display tables.
Following registration, we’ll gather all riders and host a brief kick-off/program. RIDERS ARE ASKED TO GATHER AT 9 AM FOR THE KICK-OFF AS WE DID PRE-PANDEMIC. Please plan to arrive before 9 am to check-in.
After kick-off, riders will ride along a 20 mile route (or as far as you wish) from the Capital Banquet Center in Washington, MI to and around Stony Creek Metropark bike loop and back with crossing guards and water stops for your safety and comfort. Virtual participants can ride at your own chosen location and for any distance you wish.
All riders and supporters are invited to join the luncheon at 11:30 am. The luncheon will feature a buffet lunch, raffle prizes, a brief program including brief presentations from our nonprofit partners, as well as celebration and camaraderie.
