Michigan Adventure Race: Owasippe

Gather your team and get ready to experience classic northern Michigan terrain by bike, canoe/kayak and foot, without having to drive “up north,” searching for checkpoints with a map (and sometimes a compass – we can quickly teach you how). The race takes place just 20 minutes north of Muskegon and less than one hour from Grand Rapids. The 5-hour race is perfect for beginners and families – beginner mountain biking, orienteering and paddling. The 8-hour has more challenging orienteering and mountain biking on the awesome Owasippe trail system. The entire race stays on the scout reservation. We’ll celebrate the day after the race with pizza, fruit, an awards ceremony and raffle.
