A mixed surface bike-packing long weekend to rest TEST your soul
New to the LMB’s line up, this fall bike-packing event will be moved from year to year to showcase some of the great fall hideouts in Michigan. With a focus on flannels, fall colors, and camp fires. The final route will be a mix of pavement, gravel, multi use paths, seasonal roads, and mountain bike trails.

Support on ride:
Unlike LMB tours this event will not have aid stations along the way. We will have light snacks in camp while supplies last to have you grab a few things for the road ahead that day. The routes will have a few stores and spots to stop and grab lunch during your travel. The routes will roll by a brewery, winery, or distillery everyday. You will be required to carry your own gear from location to location. We will not have SAG vehicles on this event so we will work as a team to address issues folks may have and to get everyone forward to the next campsite.
There will not be mechanics on site but we will be rolling by several shops and can give a recommendation on where to go to get any issues you may experience resolved.
We will also have first aid supplies on hand should you need something in camp.
Packing list: You will need to carry what you bring.
- Bike with bags and racks to carry all your personal gear and snacks – we recommend 37c or larger tires for the offroad and gravel sections
- A tube and tire boot and a inflation device
- Tools and items to fix minor issues
- Sleeping set up – Tent set up is preferred. There will not be hammock space at each campground
- Snacks for the ride – bring what you like to eat. We got you for breakfast and dinner but on the ride your are responsible for nutrition and lunch. We will have some light snacks in camp each day for you to grab and pack on your bike.
- Riding clothes – plan for all weather conditions we ride no matter the weather
- Camp clothes
