Iron Trail Road & Trail Tour

You can enjoy our oldest tour route, dating to 1982. This 300-mile loop covers a lot of territory, starting in Duluth and then visiting the Iron Range towns of Virginia and Tower. Next up, 2 nights in Ely and a chance for you to paddle a kayak or canoe in the Boundary Waters. We leave Ely and enjoy the longest day of our season, 65 miles to Beaver Bay. Don’t worry, you’ll have good support from our tour leaders and two sag vehicles. Our final day has great sights on the North Shore: Split Rock Lighthouse, Gooseberry Falls, Silver Creek bypass, and more!
