The Assenmacher 100 is an outstanding ride for everyone over paved country roads, through mid-Michigan’s scenic farmland and villages. A popular one day ride that started in 1980, with five paved routes and two gravel routes for the novice to experienced cyclist, it is one of Michigan’s premier century rides. GWCC provides friendly volunteers, well-placed staffed and stocked rest stops, clearly marked routes, maps and SAG support. Our goal is to provide a great ride at a reasonable price. The A-100 is held on the third Sunday in August and is a great tune-up ride for DALMAC. We are a TCBA approved DALMAC training ride. With routes ranging from 20 to 100 miles, including a gravel options, this is a great experience for individuals, families and friends! Come join us for the ride and the after-party including Koegel hot dogs and much more!
The ride will start and finish in Swartz Creek at a new location on the Swartz Creek Community School High School grounds at the student parking lot off Cappy Lane. Registration and check-in are in the same lot by the SC Performing Arts Center.
