The Alma Glengravel Ramble is an exciting gravel road tour in the central Michigan area! Each route takes riders on gravel roads (primarily), but in order to connect particularly fun segments of rural gravel, riders will occasionally be routed on segments of pavement. All rules of the road apply – this is not a timed event. While the routes are all decidedly rural, they are not on closed roads and are open to normal road traffic.
Rider check-in (and late-registration) will take place at Terry’s Cycle in Alma from 8:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.* on Saturday, May 30. Pre-registered riders will receive an e-mail with GPS directions for their route (and I will have paper maps & cue sheets at check-in). GPS files will be available through RideWithGPS.
*Due to the length of the ride, ALL 100 MILE RIDERS must check in by 9:30 a.m. at the latest in order to ensure we can provide adequate aid station support for the entirety of the ride.
Event t-shirts are guaranteed only to those that register by 11:59 p.m. on SUNDAY, MAY 3. A very limited supply will be available during rider check-in for those that register after the deadline but before registration closes (on Tuesday, May 26) and are available on a first-come-first-served basis. Help us plan our aid stations (and shirt quantity!) by registering early…please and thank you!
All entrants receive:
- THREE $5 food and beverage vouchers for use at the Alma Brewing Company, Highland Blush, and/or Bravehearts Pub in downtown Alma (valid only on Saturday, May 30, 2020)
- Nutrition support at all aid stations, stocked with delicious treats and water (one for the 25 mile route and three each for the 57 and 100 mile routes)
- Custom Shred Science / Alma Glengravel Ramble waterbottle (100 available) or Terry’s Cycle waterbottle
- Entry into our fantastic swag raffle!
Plan to be self sufficient with respect to mechanical assistance (bring a few tubes, CO2 or a pump, etc.), but also watch out for each other and lend a hand if you pass a cyclist in need.
