Triple Trail has grown year after year to be one of the largest single day mountain bike events in Michigan

Triple Trail Challenge is the longest running fund raiser for the Poto Mountain Biking Association, which is presented by Tree Fort Bikes. Special arrangements with land managers allows us to ride trails that are only open to mountain bikers one time per year.

The best part, EVERY SINGLE PENNY of PROFIT goes to support the organization that builds and maintains the trails you love to ride.

This is the only time of the year that we are permitted by the DNR to tie the Poto and DTE trails together via these portions of the Pinckney-Waterloo hiking trail.

The event has to be capped at 1500 riders.

What does that mean to you? It means that you will need to be on the ball and sign up and donate to ride. Once we cap out at 1500 riders, we are not allowed to hand out any further entries. This will be a lightly-supported ride, at your own pace. You can do the entire course or any variation that you wish.

You will need to pre-register and pre-pay for the event as there will be no day-of registration.

You will be required to have a number plate on your bike while you ride the event specific sections of trail. The DNR has indicated that this will be strictly enforced. You will also need a wristband to get into the food line and afterparty area after the ride.

Ride with group of your friends or meet some new ones! Join Tree Fort Bikes in supporting the Potawatomi Mountain Biking Association. They need your support this year more than ever, as their largest fundraiser of the year.

Be sure to bring enough food and water for the ride, as well as a spare tube, pump and all the other things you might need for an almost 50 mile ride!

Please note: the ride will alternate direction on the DTE trail as per usual based on the day of the week.

The ride starts at the Poto trailhead at Pinckney State Park, where you will meet the climbs and descents that Poto is known for, gradually progressing into Waterloo then the DTE Energy Foundation Trail, sampling some of all 4 of the loops. Weave in a few gravel roads then find your way back to the Poto for an epic finish at Silver Lake!

The closest camping is available at Crooked Lake.
