PEDAL & WHINE – ALBION MALLEABLE

NEW LOCATION!  BETTER ROADS!

You asked for better pavement and we listened. After 10 years in eastern Jackson county, the Pedal & Whine Bike Tour is moving to Albion and will now be called the Pedal & Whine Albion Malleable Bike Tour.  This ride features miles of new pavement on quiet country roads, scenic views, abundant wildlife, and the option to take gravel routes through Amish country.  And when you finish, enjoy a delicious meal at the Albion Malleable Brewing Company!

Join us for this ride on Saturday, August 3, 2024 and experience the small town hospitality of Albion, Michigan.  Sponsored by the Cascades Cycling Club, this very popular, fully supported ride has grown significantly since our first ride in 2013. Enjoy bicycling along the scenic, lightly travelled roads of western Jackson and eastern Calhoun counties. Paved road routes include distances of 8, 18, 28, 40, and 65 miles. These routes allow riders to ride as little or as much they like.  Our special 8 mile Family route takes riders through Albion College’s Whitehouse Nature Center. This year we will also have combination paved/gravel road routes that take riders back in time as you ride through Amish country with its beautiful farms and well-kept herds of livestock.

All routes are SAG supported so participants can ride worry free.  Longer routes feature SAG/rest stops where riders can stop and enjoy healthy snacks, drinks and take a restroom break before continuing their ride.  Register before March 1 and take advantage of our special “early bird” pricing.  This is a DALMAC Training Ride.
