Now our oldest ans most mature rail-trail tour in Michigan, come to Petoskey for some fun!. Arrive Sunday afternoon, and look forward to Monday’s ride, 30 to 40 miles out & back traffic-free on the Little Traverse Wheelway. Tuesday, we depart and take the Northcentral State Trail 35 miles to Mackinaw City for 2 nights. Special bonus, we get a private tour at Oden State Fish Hatchery! Spend the Mackinaw City layover day as you wish- join our tour staff for a road ride out to Wilderness Lake State Park, or relax on the beach, or take the ferry to/from Mackinac Island. On Thursday we depart headed south to Cheboygan on the bike trail, then turn inland to Indian River for the night. On Friday we return to Petoskey for the tour end, about noon. Good food and a comfortable bed each night!
This tour is about 80%% traffic-free, save for a few places where the rail-trail doesn’t go. In addition, none of the days feature really long distances or steep hills, so it should be a delightful week under clear blue northern skies. Come along!
