Mick Webster Memorial Bicycle Tour (Mick’s Ride)

This is the 12th annual Mick Webster Memorial Bicycle Tour (Micks Ride). A ride celebrating Mick’s life who fought and struggled for 6 years with malignant melanoma. She lost her battle on May 17th, 2006. All proceeds (thanks to our sponsors) will go to the Relay for Life, an event Mick felt very passionate about hopefully to help in finding a cure for this and other cancers.

The ride has an 18 and 28-mile route which features the Falling Waters Trail with a sag stop at lime lake. There is also a 50 and 62-mile route that travels along the southwest portion of Jackson County with a sag stop in Hanover, through Concord and finishing along the Falling Waters Trail.

Registration starts at 7:00 am but for those that want to join in, there will be a mass start at 8:30 am with a Police escort to the City Limits. Sag stops will provide fruit, cookies, lemonade, and water. Sag support will also be provided along the routes. After the ride, we’ll be serving lunch at P&T with pulled pork sandwiches, fresh salads, fruit and more.
