Come and experience rural Jackson County countryside by bike. The five routes will be well marked and SAG supported. Our low traffic routes feature rolling terrain and abundant shade. With routes of 11, 16, 29, 31, 53 and 68 miles, cyclists can choose to ride as much or as little as they like. This year riders also have the option of selecting a recently opened segment of the Mike Levine Lakelands trail as part of their route. For cyclists who wish to ride mainly on the Mike Levine Lakelands trail, a new route has been added that puts riders on the trail in less than 5 miles. Riders can continue to Stockbridge and return making this a 29 mile route, or turn around sooner for a shorter ride. A delicious lunch will be provided between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. by Sandhill Crane Vineyards (lunch for non-riders will be available for purchase). Wine tasting will also be available from Sandhill Crane Vineyards at a reduced rate, along with craft beer brewed exclusively for this event. As usual, the Vineyards’ fine selection of wines will be available for purchase. Nutritious snacks, fruit and drinks will be available to all riders at registration and rest stops. All riders will receive a detailed route map and routes will also be clearly marked on the pavement.
To ensure everyone’s safety, we have a 250 rider limit and will implement Michigan Department of Health and Human Services safety guidelines for COVID 19 which are in place at the time of the event.
Pre-registration is open on active.com. With the 250 rider limit, early registration is highly recommended.
