A family-friendly ride along the mostly wooded Pere Marquette State Rail Trail with 20, 30 and 50 mile ride options, all out-and-back beginning and ending at the depot at the Lake Station Trailhead. Aid stations at the Trailhead, Farwell and Evart. See the historic coal tower and the big red caboose. Watch for eagles and sand hill cranes. Longer options go through tunnels and cross a river on an old railroad bridge. A truly beautiful ride.
