New for 2025, we’re touring on the Great Lake to Lake Route #2, with a Muskegon start in August! This starting point is designed for guests who find Muskegon easier to get to vs. Bay City. Wisconsin and Chicago guests please note: there’s great ferry service between Milwaukee and Muskegon (ferry not included in this tour; please see our Dirty Double-Crossing Tour if you need some boat rides).

For this tour, arrive in Muskegon on Sunday, hopefully in time for the optional ride to Whitehall. We’ll also dip tires in Lake Michigan today! Monday at 8 a.m. you’ll board the motor coach for our ride to Bay City State Park and dipping the other tire into Lake Huron. Once this excitement settles, we’re off to Midland for the night.

Tuesday, we have some special activities in Midland including a tour of the famous Tridge, and then we’re off on the Pere Marquette trail to Clare for the night.

Wednesday is your best chance for a Metric Century as we take the Pere Marquette to Reed City, then turn south for the final 20 miles into Big Rapids, home of Ferris State University.

Thursday, we wrap up the White Pine by rolling in to Comstock Park for the night. We have a lovely final tour dinner planned for you.

Friday, we have two routes back to Muskegon and the end of the tour, both using the Musketawa Trail. Currently half the trail is closed for construction, with completion slated for July 2026. If the trail is open, that’s our obvious choice. However, our plans today include about a 17-mile stretch on county highways around the closed trail. Tour Chief Jim rode a figure 8 on these county roads in October 2026, and found 1) very low traffic count, 2) no dogs, and 3) smooth pavement.

There you have it! Visit our website and join this tour!
