Online Description

On the eve of last years' Covered Bridge Bike Tour, the Fallasburg Historical Society lost a friend, Board member, original Fallas Family descendant, and tireless cycling advocate. Larry Martin was hit and killed on his bike while out for a Saturday afternoon ride. The Covered Bridge Bike Tour was Larry's baby. He was instrumental in its creation, growth, and ongoing success. Please honor the memory of Larry Martin by joining the Fallasburg Historical Society on the 18TH Annual Covered Bridge Bike Tour. Our routes are selected to guide you through some of West Michigan's most scenic countryside, along rivers and streams, past farms, and through rural communities. Whether you choose a short distance or a long one, you'll find your route well marked, with a minimum of hills (we try), and prompt support and guidance if you need it. Our food has become legend. We feature tasty goodies at rest stops and a great homemade Country Style Italian meal at the end. Please join us on July 8TH!
