$1 Per Rider Program Events: 42  Each year, numerous events pledge to donate $1 to the LMB for every participating rider. These generous contributions provide essential funding for LMB's mission of promoting bicycling and safety of bicyclists on the roadways in Michigan. These dollars add up quickly, providing LMB with much needed funds that help with our education and advocacy efforts. By choosing to participate in $1 Per Rider events, you will enjoy a great ride, support local groups, see the beautiful state of Michigan and support LMB all at the same time.For event organizers, our $1 Per Rider program is a simple and convenient way for your organization to play an active role in shaping a more bicycle friendly Michigan. In addition to the enhanced exposure we give $1 Per Rider events in our print Ride Calendar, website and monthly E-news, we also offer free website banner advertisements for all $1 Per Rider events. $1 Per Rider event promoters can also visit our $1 Per Rider promoters page to download graphics for your website to help promote your involvement in the program.

Other (non ride events) Events: 1 These are bicycle-related events that do not have a ride associated with it such as meetings, workshops, presentations, rodeos, LCI trainings, etc.
MBRA Road Racing Events: 3 Recognized by the United States Olympic Committee and USA Cycling, the Michigan Bicycle Racing Association (MBRA) is the governing body that oversees the sanctioning of 35+ competitive and non-competitive events throughout Michigan each year. Additionally, MBRA works to identify, develop, and support Michigan cyclists through various initiatives and programs.
